Liebster Award Nominations by Foodinbooks

Having recently been nominated by my wonderful fellow blogger at Fairly Literary, I was asked to nominate 11 other blogs worthy of this award. These are among my favorites. I enjoy all of their varying and differing viewpoints, points of view, and worldviews. If these nominees can answer the questions at the very bottom of this post, on their own websites, that would be great!

The Rotting Post – the finest in literary snark. Read it and prepare to weep with laughter!

Katrina J. Guarascio – a marvelous poet,  a humanitarian, and a woman who is not afraid to speak her mind.

Tookii.com.au – an excellent blog dedicated to cool stuff for kids. And I don’t even like kids! But her page is awesome!

Andrea’s Vacation – beautiful photos of far-away places that make you long to run away and find them…….and yourself.

Psychologist Mimi – speaking of finding yourself, the mental musings of Psychologist Mimi will definitely get you thinking.

Recipe In A Bottle – She inspires me to try some pretty unusual food combinations, and all, without exception, have been marvelous!

I Accidentally Ate The Whole Thing – A divinely beautiful blog featuring vegan and vegetarian dishes. I’m no vegetarian, but this one has me hooked.

Odedi’s Wine Blog – A blog dedicated to my favorite thing in the world besides food and books – wine! He blogs about a new wine daily. I wish I had his job!

Coffee Shop Rabbi – A daily education about the history, culture, literature and food of the Jewish heritage. Fascinating to read, and I have learned so much about this religion that I never knew before. Love it!

La Venessiana – Life in Venice, made to look like a fairytale and described from a woman’s viewpoint. I have never longed so much to travel back to Venice as I have when reading her marvelous posts!

Wee Blue Mixer – This blog details life in Scotland, the history, culture and food. Wonderful!
